KeymasterIs there a keyboard shortcut for refresh?

KeymasterRegarding Google Drive you are correct. I have not added any functionality to read/write to Google Drive. I am not sure this is the best direction for PlantText. The “Save” button does in fact save the content of the editor and your other preference settings to the Google datastore…not google docs.

KeymasterAs far as I can tell, I can’t save my document onto Google Drive (only import/export work from the local computer). The “save” button seems to save to my Google account, but I don’t have a clue where. Save seems to only hold one file (there’s no dialog to ask me the name, so I can’t save more than one file).

KeymasterRegarding “working like JSFiddle”, yes you can do exactly what you are saying. There is an “Edit” link just below the diagram. This link contains the full PlantUML text as a query string item in the link back to this site. In other words, you can give that link so someone so the diagram can be opened in PlantText.com. I hope this helps.

KeymasterSorry, I do not know what you mean by “how do I get a copy?”. This is a pure internet application. There is no software to download. There are other PlantUML related software packages that you can take a look at at their website.

KeymasterRegarding the exceptionally large diagrams. I will look into this to see what the issue might be. I have not documented the size limit. I will take a look and post it here soon.

KeymasterRegarding the sequence diagrams limitation. This website uses the PlantUML engine directly, so it will only do what you would expect from that software at http://www.plantuml.com. We have no control over that. Take a look at the PlantUML website and see if they have a solution.

KeymasterThanks. I appreciate the positive feedback. It sounds like you get it. I am going to start working on a new feature that you might appreciate. I am hoping to start converting C# (and hopefully other languages) to plantuml and class diagrams. Cheers.

KeymasterThe “Save” button just saves your text and settings to the server so you can open on another computer with the same content.

KeymasterASCII output is now available. At the bottom of the generated image, there are links to PNG, SVG, TXT and Edit. Click TXT for ASCII output.

KeymasterYes, I will try to add ASCII as soon as I have some time.
